The Polka-Nuts have been performing music together for twenty-nine years!
The band consists of Mike Gaschler, his two daughters Michelle Gaschler,
Larae Szafraniec, and nephew Dave Beitz Jr. We have performed all over the U.S. and on several cuise ships. We specialize in Dutch-Hop's, a polka music that originated from German's who migrated to Russia. Dutch-Hop music is unique, in the fact that there is a Hammered Dulcimer in the music. Although Dutch-Hop is our forte, we also play Slyvanian, Mexican, and Cleveland style Polkas, Waltz's and Two Step's. Polka's and the wonderful people that support polka music make us happy, and we hope our music in return makes you happy too!!
The Polka-Nuts are based out of Brighton, Colorado. We play several times a month in and around Colorado. The Polka-Nuts are Known for versatile musicians. When you are at a performance you will see Mike, Dave, and Larae switching instruments several times. The band consists of an Accordion, Bass & Piano, Trombone, Sax, Hammered Dulcimer and Drums. From time to time you will see a Button-Box Accordion, and Guitar. The Polka-Nuts are a family band, and encourage you to involve your family too. The Polka-Nuts are "Polka Nuts"!!!!!
